Daniel Day Lewis Beard

Daniel Day Lewis beard

Pulling down a beard in life takes work; pulling off a beard within the films is even more difficult. But great hair on your face can perfectly highlight a performance, whether it's naturalistic or deeply refined. Recently, Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight features provided a good amount of amazing facial hair, including championship-level beards from Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell. Below are ten types of amazing beards that can be found onscreen: some from recommended dramas, other individuals from even more stylized works. Maybe you'll be motivated — either cinematically or even for your very own brushing.

Daniel Day-Lewis, Lincoln

One of the biggest stars of their generation playing one of the most historically significant presidents ever, and displaying an iconic beard along the way. What's not to ever appreciate? Much like several of Day-Lewis's performances, his type of Abraham Lincoln seems less of a job that he's playing and more of a feeling of him channeling history.
